It’s not a stretch to say that today, on this Wednesday, in the depths of winter and the very middle of the work week, some of SB Nation’s readership is contemplating hell. All those inane memos, the neverending flow charts, a steady stream of TPS reports. It’s part of the ebb and flow of the work week (so I’m told), and it’s perfectly natural to wonder if your cubicle is, in fact, the worst place in the world.
Come Friday at 5:00, the world will feel like heaven, you’ll go out and enjoy the weekend, and next Monday it’ll start all over again. Life!
But as far as hell’s concerned, a qualifier: it’d have to be someplace with a cubicle AND this interview playing on a continuous loop.
Right there, in that clip, we have some history. Two of the phoniest, most self-absorbed people in the history of the world, trading chuckles and lame jokes back and forth.
The kicker comes about halfway through, when Leno asks MJ if he can still dunk:
Jordan: Are you stupid?
Band: (wah-wah-wahhhh)
Leno: (overlaughs) Gettin a little testy!
If the exchange doesn’t quash your will to live, well, you’re a better person than me. And if it did, take solace in this brilliant tribute to the chinned fella, and Jimmy Kimmel’s outstanding cameo on Leno from last week.
Maybe there’s hope, after all:
