We all remember the overweight kid in school that everyone used to tease. If he was like most kids, he probably didn't take that too well.
So, in a sense, there's nothing abnormal about Celtics forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis shouting expletives at a Detroit fan who kept calling him "fat boy" during yesterday's game. Kids get sensitive about their weight, what can I say?
What's that? Glen Davis is a 24-year old professional basketball player, not a 10-year old kid? Oooohhhh. Well, in that case, Doc Rivers' anger at Davis' immaturity is totally justified. SB Nation's Celtics Blog backs it up with the headline "I Guess He Really Is A Big Baby." I guess it's time for the 24-year old to grow up.
Hey Glen, need a better way to deal with heckling? Maybe you should read poetry like J.J. Redick.
UPDATE: The NBA fined Davis $25,000 for his outburst. Stu Jackson don't mess around!

For taking a shot at J.J. Redick. I remember they showed that clip at the ESPN Gameday before the Terps/Duke game when I was back in college. The boos and laughs were hilarious. That kid got more heckling than I’ve ever seen…
Optimism. Positivity. Win.
