Some very good news out of Chestnut Hill: Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich returned to the practice field Thursday. It was his first time playing football since being diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, in the spring of 2009. Herzlich, who was the ACC defensive player of the year in 2008, missed all of last year to undergo treatment. You can read more about his continuing recovery at HerzNation.com.
