Get ready for the best grass, evah. The lawn care company Scott's announced that it is coming out with lawn-seed just like that used at Fenway Park. Well, technically, it just "contains actual varieties" used, but hey, Red Sox Nation, amiright?!
The $22 bags of baseball blend bear the Red Sox logo and the signature of David Mellor, the team's director of grounds, who helped Scotts create the Kentucky bluegrass seed mix and companion lawn fertilizer.
"It will be ready by Opening Day," pitched John Price, Scotts' brand manager. "I think it's going to be hugely popular with Red Sox Nation. It couples people's desire to have a great lawn and their affinity for the Red Sox.
File this under: sports fans will buy anything as long as it has their favorite team's logo.
