It's the best of the best. Basically, the highest honor in the NFL (aside from the MVP and other meaningful awards). It's the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl! And in a bid to make the league's all-star festivities more relevant, Roger Goodell has moved this year's game up to the week before the Super Bowl. Which is a great idea -- until something like this happens.
That's right, Jaguars quarterback David Garrard will be representing the AFC. In the Pro Bowl. He of 15 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions. For some context, Garrard was the 19th-rated passer in the NFL, according to Football Outsiders. And yes, he was the seventh choice for the spot, thanks for asking.
Although I'm rooting for Garrard to back out just to see who the league would pick next. Kyle Orton? Chad Henne? Or this guy? Is it an all-star game if there are no stars?
