Once upon a time, long before the days of late-night talk show television drama, Conan O'Brien was merely an up-and-coming comedian that had a bright future ahead of him. Forty million dollars and one pulled show later, and, well, you know the story by now.
Instead of rehashing all of that, let's take a look back at the younger O'Brien, one that thought he could learn something by attending NBA All-Star weekend in 1995. Watch as he talks to players, tries bungee and virtual reality basketball, markets his own shoe and takes in all the other sights and sounds of All-Star Weekend.
Something tells me Jay Leno would have been out of place there.
