There are very few certainties in college hoops, but here’s one: when you have the best player in the country and the best record, you’re going to be ranked number one in the country. It took three months, but Kentucky’s finally back on top of college basketball. How long will they stay?
It could be a while. For the record, I don’t think anybody’s beating that team this year. For perspective: if you took away the best player in the country (John Wall) from Kentucky, wouldn't they still be a top 5 team? Probably, right?
More from the AP’s Latest Poll:
1. Kentucky (65)
2. Kansas
3. Villanova
4. Syracuse
5. Michigan State
6. Texas
7. Georgetown
8. Duke
9. West Virginia
10. Purdue
11. Kansas State
12. Brigham Young
13. Gonzaga
14. Tennessee
15. Temple
