Hockeybear has no natural predators, you say? Au contraire: if the BBC has it right, there’s one thing that can destroy Hockeybear, or at least a dark-furred cousin of UAF’s planet-destroying mascot.
Correct: if you have an immortal and fierce Inuit warrior capable of curling well, he will throw a stone so hard it destroys an evil spirit bear. Don’t ever make fun of curling or the BBC’s coverage of the Olympics again, because it is so much more metal than NBC’s will ever be. (Though this ad is pretty game, we’ll admit.)

The next time I throw a takeout, I'm picturing this bear.
I have no idea if I’ll be anywhere close to accurate (read: not at all), but it will be the hardest stone I’ve ever thrown.

Hey, he's a left-handed curler even.
