By NBA terms, the Boston Celtics are old. Their three most recognizable players are all in their 30s, and many have said they're too old to win the title. This much is true.
With the Celtics set to play the Orlando Magic tonight, the Orlando Sentinel felt the need to write about the Celtics' age. Fair enough. It's an interesting and timely trend-based feature. But the paper probably didn't count on having to deal with the classic newspaper dilemma -- how do you illustrate a story like this?
Their solution was to make Rasheed Wallace look like an AARP member. Check out this photo illustration.
In fairness to the Sentinel, Wallace has played like an AARP member this season, so the illustration is oddly appropriate.
