Some good news for the Dolphins on Sunday: QB Pat White, seemingly in spite of the scary collision suffered against the Steelers, reportedly sustained "just" a concussion and is "OK."
White, a rookie from WVU, was carted off the field on a board with his helmet still on his head and taken to a local hospital for observation. He had movement in his arms and legs and was talking to medical personnel along the sideline.
Medical personnel who attended to him said he looked to be fine but that he had a concussion and he was taken off the field on a board for cautionary reasons.
Dolphins owner, Steve Ross, added, "He's gong to be fine. The word we're getting is it's a concussion. Serious. But it could have been worse when you saw it."

Here's video of the devastating hit to Dolphins quarterback Pat White. We can see White motionless on the ground, and we also see Steelers coach Mike Tomlin immediately wave to the opposing sideline for help.
White was carted off the field, but was seen moving his extremities. There's still no official word of his condition. Stick with us for further updates.

In the third quarter of the Steelers-Dolphins game, Miami quarterback Pat White suffered a massive hit from Ike Taylor while running for the sideline. Taylor's hit, which didn't appear to be dirty, was helmet-to-helmet. White appeared to have lost consciousness, and a cart was brought out to the field. Both sidelines have taken a knee in prayer.
White was just recently put in the game to replace quarterback Chad Henne. Here's a still of the hit:
We're hoping for the best, of course. Stay tuned for details.
UPDATE: White is moving his extremities while lying on the cart. This is very, very good news.
