In the wee hours of Sunday morning, Roger Federer defeated Andy Murray in the Australian Open to win his 16th career Grand Slam. News services all across the world are reporting that nobody has ever achieved more grand slams, but I'm here to set the record straight. Here's the list.
MOST CAREER GRAND SLAMS
1. Margaret Court (24)
2. Lou Gehrig (23)
3. Steffi Graf (22)
4. Manny Ramirez (21)
5. (tied) Eddie Murray, Helen Wills Moody (19)
7 (tied). Jack Nicklaus, Alex Rodriguez, Willie McCovey, Robin Ventura, Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova (18)
13 (tied). Jimmie Foxx, Ted Williams (17)
15 (tied). Roger Federer, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Dave Kingman (16)
...
393. Denny's Restaurants (2) (if you include the Grand Slamwich) (you shouldn't include the Grand Slamwich because Denny's is horrible)
