From Soldiers' Funerals to Hockey Games, Lunatic Cult Thinks Everything Is Evil

You've no doubt heard of the Westboro Baptist Church, if not by their name then certainly by their actions. The lunatic cult has made a name for itself by protesting everything from the funerals of American soldiers to the Holocaust to now... sports.

Specifically, the group picketed outside the Dallas Stars/Phoenix Coyotes game on Sunday night. You probably enjoy sports since you're reading this, and because of that simple fact, you're going to hell. Deal with it, says Westboro...

God H8s Ur hockey! ... WBC will picket your stupid, cold (you will truly pray for these days of being in the cold hockey games when you burn in hell for eternity) violent, time-wasting hockey game - your SPORT. You know there will be only a few more of these entertainment events before God lets Obama simply destroy this nation. God does not have anything good to say about your sport(s).

[...]

God Hates DOOMED america, God Hates Arizona, God Hates Florida. You are all going to hell, and there is nothing to do but hear the words, hate the words, get mad at the words - - then get more words. Repeat, repeat until Jesus Christ comes in power and glory to redeem HIS people. Praise God! AMEN!

Not really sure what President Obama has to do with hockey, especially considering he's probably never watched a full game straight through. Also not sure what Florida has to do with the mix here. But, you know, logic clearly escapes these folks.

In fact, it's obvious they're just doing this for publicity (notice how we didn't include the link to their website), but clearly they're not aware that hockey between Dallas and Phoenix isn't exactly the Super Bowl...

Praying for the days they pull a Jonestown.

They have no business even existing, let alone being out on the streets with their nonsense.

The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL

The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back

They protested outside my high school junior year

Even the kid they were supposedly supporting thought they were insane.

Props

for not including their website. I’m not the most PC guy in the world, but their URL is just as insane as the protests they hold.

I mean seriously, are they for real or just some over-the-top “joke”?
Do they know that nobody will ever take anything they say seriously???

Great post! This is an amazing Online sports site! I am surprised that this Online sports site is not listed as a Top on the latest ranking at www.dozensports.com. I am a huge Online sports fan and love to watch NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB. I thought your site would be listed there already. Keep up the good work.
