Like I was saying, having a guy who has made the clutch shots before is always better than not having one. Kobe Bryant is living proof. This tough foul-line jumper gave the Lakers their final 90-89 advantage over the Celtics and a tie for the NBA's best record with the Fightin' LeBrons.
Not bad, Mamba. Not bad.

Bah… he would have needed a 4 pointer if the ref didn’t bail the Lakers out with that weak offensive foul call on Pierce. I generally want to see blood before I call a foul at that point of the game.

Hey, l’etat, c’est moi; rember that weak offenisve foul that was called on KB24 in the second quarter that rallied the C’s? The one where Kobe didnt even touh anybody but was called for an offensive foul? Yep, you remember.

I do remember. I just believe that a big game shouldn’t be decided on a cheap foul.

say what you want but this is why Kobe is the man. he is Mr. Clutch and proves it night in and night out, ain’t no one better than him when the game is on the line.
P.S Lebron, you can learn a thing or 2 from Kobe when the game counts.

I agree with KyleM
The Pierce call was not a game decider and the Celts still had a chance to win. Kobe DID make a shot when he had a chance.
….unlike the Turkoglu ‘put him on the line when there was no foul’ - Now THAT was a cheap game deciding call on a flop.

No doubt on Kobe… that was a clutch shot. He just should have been trying to tie it after the ref ignored that tip-tap foul that truly decided the game.
It’s all good. If we’re better than they are, we’ll have the tropjy this summer.
Kobe’s muppet commercial…. how did Kobe sign off on having the High Yella muppet?

Actually if you watch the shot Kobe was fouled, hi arm was hit as he was shooting so there was an uncalled foul there. I LOVE to hear Celtics fans whine, music to my ears.
