↵Unfortunately, it's not all fun, as the reason we bring in Freeman at this point is because we're losing one of the last remaining original TSB'ers, Bethlehem Shoals. You'll see him pop up again elsewhere soon on the web, so don't fret. You'll also still see him over at his home base at FreeDarko.com. We wish him the best at his next stop and as he puts his nose to the grindstone to finish his upcoming book. ↵
↵↵In a slightly related matter, we're (sort of) hiring. I'm hunting for an intern to help with our family of blogs when it comes to editing and some promotion across social media platforms. (Yes, it pays.) It's not a writing gig, so don't apply for it thinking that's what it is. Just looking for someone with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, AP style and sports knowledge -- particularly the NBA. It's a telecommuting gig that runs Mon.-Fri., so if you're interested, send me an e-mail at blogtips[at]sportingnews[dot]com. In the subject, please write "INTERNSHIP," so I can distinguish it from the zillion spam e-mails I get at that address. Please send along resumes pasted into the body of the e-mails. ↵
↵↵For more on Shoals' departure, go over and read his final column for The Baseline. Today will be his last day, so wish him well, and then come back to welcome Freeman on Monday when he gets to work. ↵
