Here's something worth keeping an eye on. Now that Pete Carroll is on his way to the NFL, how many of his All-World recruits will bolt USC for different programs? For now, it looks like two of them might. From SI's Andy Staples:
I was just told at Army AA Bowl by someone who would know that Dillon Baxter and D.J. Morgan have decommitted from USC.
And again from Staples, a few hours later:
Attn. any coaches looking for a 5-star back: Dillon Baxter is wide open. You have 6 hours, 59 minutes to call before the dead period begins.
One thing's for sure: USC always had an embarassing amount of talent. But with Carroll departed, there's a good chance that a good portion of this year's characteristically stellar recruiting class could look elsewhere.
