TCU Offensive Line Coach Eddie Williamson Has Heart Attack During Game

TCU's first quarter against San Diego State went poorly, but the on-field issues were the least of the Horned Frogs' troubles: offensive line coach Eddie Williamson had a heart attack during the period.

This information comes from Rivals reporter Brian Perroni who notes that TCU coach Gary Patterson divulged that Williamson had the heart attack during a halftime interview. Perroni also tweets that Williamson, who he calls "Eddie Henderson," is currently in "stable" condition. Williamson has been TCU's offensive line coach for 10 years, and is also an assistant head coach.

No matter what happens to the Horned Frogs on the field today — and they're currently leading San Diego State 34-14 early in the second half — it's likely that Henderson's health will be of paramount concern, much as it was for Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio, who had a heart attack after Michigan State's win over Notre Dame earlier this year.

We'll keep you updated on Henderson's condition in this space.
