On Friday afternoon, free agent NFL quarterback Colt Brennan was involved in a car accident. He has reportedly been taken to a hospital and listed in serious condition. From Hawaii's KHON-2:
Colt Brennan injured in vehicle crash on the Big Island. Reportedly in serious condition at a Kona hospital.
Police sources say the car Colt Brennan was in crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle head on.
Brennan, age 27, was drafted in the sixth round of the 2008 draft by the Washington Redskins after a record-breaking collegiate career as Hawaii's quarterback. He looked very sharp in the 2008 preseason for the Redskins, but injuries have prevented him from throwing a single pass in the NFL regular season. The Oakland Raiders signed him in August of this year only to cut him in September.
We certainly hope the best for Brennan. As soon as we learn more on his condition, we'll update this StoryStream.
