The live blog will start with the beginning of the Spike TV broadcast (9 p.m. ET). The event is headlined by a bout between Stephan Bonnar and Igor Pokrajac as well as the finale to the twelfth season of The Ultimate Fighter as Michael Johnson battles Jonathan Brookins.

The event also will be the first in the history of the UFC to incorporate featherweights and bantamweights. One of this season of The Ultimate Fighter's semi-finalists, Nam Phan, has dropped from lightweight to featherweight and will face the always exciting Leonard Garcia when the event kicks off. Also on the broadcast is an exciting bout between one of the top middleweights in the world, Demian Maia, and a former Ultimate Fighter winner, Kendall Grove. The other main card bout is a clash between highly regarded prospects Johny Hendricks and Rick Story.
