Buddy Diliberto, longtime New Orleans sportscaster, said that if and when the Saints made the Super Bowl he would walk down Bourbon Street in a dress. This would be a really substantial bet if Dilberto hadn't said this from New Orleans, where people are generally two drinks and a gust of wind away from doing outlandish things anyway, and no one might've noticed if Diliberto had gone out and done it.
Diliberto died in 2005, but the bet lived on, and on Sunday Bobby Hebert and his five livers led thousands of Who Dat men in drag down Bourbon Street. This was sexier than you can possibly imagine, and the photos only hint at this explosion of transgender sensuality:
The hip flask and cigar are nice touches, but the pearls really seal the deal. The purse might be a tasteful touch, but a nice string of beady little oyster stones like that says "You're dealing with a real lady, mister."
