Okay, so there aren't too many surprises. Nine of the 12 members of the 2008 Gold Medal winning roster will remain a part of the program, with only Jason Kidd, Michael Redd and Tayshaun Prince departing.↵
But some of the other choices are interesting. Kendrick Perkins of the Celtics is on the roster, but his more talented teammate Rajon Rondo is not. Lamar Odom, who hasn't been a part of the program since 2004, is suddenly back on the roster. Eric Gordon of the Clippers made it, but Blake Griffin did not (though Griffin is injured). Finally, Amare Stoudemire is on there, even though he essentially talked his way off the 2008 team because he was unsure if he wanted to play after the long NBA season.↵
The full 27-man roster is as follows: LaMarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Carlos Boozer, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay, Eric Gordon, Danny Granger, Dwight Howard, Andre Iguodala, LeBron James, Al Jefferson, David Lee, Brook Lopez, Kevin Love, O.J. Mayo, Lamar Odom, Chris Paul, Kendrick Perkins, Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire, Dwyane Wade, Gerald Wallace, Russell Westbrook and Deron Williams.
