Josh Gorges Blocks Slap Shot With Head; His Kids Will Have Migraines

Josh Gorges of the Canadiens decided to drop down and block a Green slap shot during the first period of their game tonight at Le Centre Bell. The results were not pretty.

In addition to the blunt force of the puck, the helmet apparently broke and caused some damage as well. It was clearly a scary situation, which you can tell by the initial reaction of TSN commentator Pierre Mcguire, who was positioned ice side. It appears he's okay as you could see him get off the ice without too much help, and one French report says he is doing well.
