Around SBN: Tiger Woods Makes His 2012 PGA Tour Debut

From Our Editors

Updated throughout the day with quick takes from staff.

Come For the Daytona 500, Stay For the Road Improvement!

Update: Jamie McMurray held off a hard-charging Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to win the Daytona 500.

This is the hole that caused a delay in the Daytona 500 today. (Or one of them, at least.) A major sporting event in the year 2010 has been delayed by a hole in a man-made surface. I've seen it all.

Our NASCAR blog, Unrestricted, has a great recap of the chatter about the hole, and you can find all sorts of updates on the race and racing over there, too.

Also, Wikipedia has exclusively revealed the winner of the race. (HT: Mark Bradley.)

That’s why NASCAR doesn’t sell in the Northeast. One is expected to be able to deal with potholes up here.

nope…we hate nascar up here because watching guys drive around a track is boring…but what the hell do we know??? 200,000 seemed to love it…i personally think it’s dumb to watch a guy make a right turn for 6 hours in a row.

On the other hand, tailgating someone at 185 mph would be appreciated in Boston.

if a racer blew out a tire on that pothole would the daytona 500 pay for it?
