America's Seth Wescott Wins Gold In Men's Snowboard Cross

Seth Wescott claimed America's second gold medal of the 2010 Winter Olympics with his win late Monday afternoon in Men's Snowboard Cross.

Wescott, the defending Olympic gold medalist, found himself in last place at the top of the race course, but fought his way back, passing Canada's Mike Robertson in the final moments to win gold. Robertson took the silver, France's Tony Ramoin won bronze and American Nate Holland, who spun out early, came in last in the four-man race.

Wescott struggled in the qualifying rounds, and as a result was seeded 17th of the 32 riders, but still managed to rally for his second career gold medal.
