Yeah, Okposo may be the snub I’m most upset about. It’s a tough call between Dubinsky and Callahan and then again between Oshie and Backes. I’m not upset about how they picked those guys though.

I’m guessing it has something to do with their respective hit totals. Also, the difference between the two (as they currently exist) is not what Isles fans would have us believe. The US has a glut of that teir of versatile player (Callahan, Okposo, Oshie, Gaustad…I’m sure I’m missing some) who all would have been solid choices.

Yup. That’s what they’ll need to do if they are going to beat the big 3. Just like the WJC they have some top end talent, but not as much as the others. They’ll have to win on their work ethic and their skill guys coming up big.
