Germany Wins Gold And Bronze In Women's Luge

Germany had a disappointing day on the track, but only because they failed to sweep the medals in Women's Luge for the third consecutive Winter Olympics. Instead they had to settle for "just" gold and bronze, and three of the top five positions overall

Tatjana Huefner, the bronze medalist in 2006, won the gold today in Vancouver, and fellow German Natalie Geisenberger took the bronze. It was Austria's Nina Reithmayer that prevented Germany from the medal sweep.
