Can Mikhail Prokhorov Just Come To The NBA Already?

Seriously. Mikhail, we need you. We're ready for you. We can't wait. This needs to happen. Now.

Just look at that steely, terrifying gaze. The photo comes courtesy of the Newark Star-Ledger and an interview with the future Nets owner, who's in Vancouver to watch his Ski Biathalon team. "I am on the strategy side and the finance side," he said. Of course he is.

As for the Ski Biathalon, his top competitor, Svetlana Sleptsova—a real name, by the way—finished a dismal 18th. And while Russia's wildest Oligarch was in a foul mood after his team's disappointing performance, he gave a few awesome quotes regardless:

On the NBA:

"I am newcomer. I need time."

On the Nets:

“The lawyers told me I cannot speak. As soon as deal is closed, I have summit.”

On his favorite sports:

“Kick-boxing, freestyle jet skiing, windsurfing, acrobatics and trampoline — those are my sports."

Seriously. Freestyle jet skiing? We're ready for you to come to the NBA, Mikhail. Can't wait.
