I'm going to venture a guess that no one is sicker of hearing about the Bush/Mayo kerfluffle than my colleagues at Yahoo(!) who've been covering the scandal for approximately four generations at this point. It's all heading to a dead stop any day now, however (really!), and you can hardly be blamed if you've lost track of who's supposed to have done what and where. The good Doctor has your exhaustive l'affaire Trojan primer, right here:
USC is in front of the NCAA Infractions Committee in Tempe, Ariz., today and the next two days, a reckoning four years in the making since of star running back Reggie Bush's lucrative farewell season hit the news in 2006. Fans were impatient about the NCAA's response in 2007. In four to six weeks, finally, we'll have our resolution based on these ongoing hearings.
... yeah, all right, maybe not any day now. But soon(ish), we'll be able to put all this behind us and get back to important matters, like making fun of Lane Kiffin's impossibly poreless complexion.
Stay up-to-date on all matters Trojan with SBN's Conquest Chronicles.
