If you forget your cowbell when you go to the Vancouver Olympics, don't worry, there's an app for that.
Yes, even the proud cowbell has gone virtual. An app called Cowbell2010 allows fans to "drape" a noisemaker in the flag of the country of their choice. (Well, a picture of the flag shows up on your screen.)
Shake the iPhone and the bell clangs with an eerily accurate sound. Tap the image and it rings, too.
So if you see spectators shaking their phones on the slopes in Vancouver, remember that they're just cheering for their country using the Cowbell2010, and not upset with AT&T dropping another call.
