With their 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night, the Boston Bruins are 2-10-2 since the Winter Classic. They are two points out of a playoff spot and in the 12th spot in the Eastern Conference. This is creating the breaking point for the Boston Bruins. TSN's Bob McKenzie is reporting through Twitter Tuesday night that the Bruins are actively shopping Michael Ryder.
Boston Bruins have made it known to teams throughout the league that Michael Ryder is available for trade.
CBC's Jeff Marek is reporting the same thing of sorts as well. Marek had Jack Edwards on Hockey Night In Canada Radio today and is stating this through Twitter:
Tonight's Boston loss will prompt a trade and change of direction for the Bruins as per my convo w/Jack Edwards on HNiC Radio this aft
The Bruins do need some help to get back into the race and hitting rock bottom here might be able to rebuild and make the playoffs.
