During the Colts portion of Media Day, I had to set the record straight among the NFL commentating class in regards to which NFL wide receiver is the league's most "scrappy".
The candidates I set forth to Austin Collie, a scrappy wideout in his own right: Himself, Wes Welker, Greg Camarillo and Brandon Stokley. Collie nipped the debate in the bud by declaring Welker to still be the most scrappy.
To non-savvy fans, scrappiness, of course, is a descriptor often applied to NFL wide receivers of a certain shared trait. What that arbitrary quality is remains a mystery.↵
