Via the Oregonian, here's what Chip Kelly had to say about Oregon's recent turmoil, including LaMichael James' arrest on domestic abuse charges, among other Oregon offenses:
"We're always going to do things the right way, and if a player doesn't live up to the standards we have for the football program, then they're not going to be here. But I'm also not going to follow our kids around every Friday or Saturday night so I can see what happened to them."
And then... Just a few hours after that press conference, third-year linebacker Kiko Alonso was arrested for drunk driving. It's yet another embarassing incident for Oregon, the program that'd previously been famous for cool uniforms and finishing second to USC. Now that this latest arrest has made a mockery of Coach Kelly's comments and the criminal charade continues, the rest of us can only wonder. What the hell is going on in Eugene, Oregon?

Every time you think they have hit bottom...
They dig down another level..
I really would Call Oregon my favorite team in the PAC-10, and I sure hope they turn this thing around but right now the program is hurting, badly..
