Brian Rafalski's Goal Has USA Off To Perfect Start

If you had to think of the best way for the USA to start tonight’s game, then the first three minutes of the first period would be it. The American’s came out aggressive, confident and immediately started beating the Canadians to the puck and winning the battles along the boards.

Brian Rafalski’s shot from the point deflected off Sidney Crosby and past Martin Brodeur, and the Canadians look to be a bit shell shocked at how the USA is playing this hard.

Ryan Miller has already made several big saves, but the Americans are continuing their aggressive approach that has worked so well for them in the Olympics.
