Marie-Phillip Poulin is having the game of her life, and it's only the first period. At 18 years old, it's her first Olympics. She's in her home country. And now, she's put Team Canada up 2-0 on two first period goals over their biggest rival, the United States.
The Americans haven't played poorly, but Canadian goaltender Shannon Szabados has thwarted each US chance. They'll have to find some way to get one by her, and it'll have to come sooner rather than later.
