Women's Hockey Gold Medal Game - USA vs Canada - 6:30 p.m. EST - MSNBC
Both Canada and the United States have had fairly easy roads to the gold medal game, each team throttling any and all opponents in their way. The question is now over which team is more poised and more complete, as the Americans hope to win their first gold medal since the 1998 Olympics.
Julie Chu and Jenny Potter will lead a U.S. team that is deep in talent and scoring ability but is still very young and inexperienced as a whole. The question is whether USA is still too new as a team to be able to take down the much more experienced and extremely dangerous Canadians. The United States last had a chance for a gold medal in 2002, when they lost to Canada.
After nearly two weeks of one-sided affairs, with each team grossly outshooting and outscoring their opponents, tonight's game should be a memorable one.
