Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - James Anderson sank four three-pointers en route to a game-high 27 points, as Oklahoma State toppled top-ranked Kansas, 85-77, at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Anderson added eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks for the Cowboys (20-8, 8-6 Big 12), who have won four of their last five games.

Matt Pilgrim finished with 18 points and six boards, Obi Muonelo added 17 points and Keiton Page contributed 15 in Oklahoma State's first win over a No. 1 team since February 4, 1989 against Oklahoma in Stillwater.

Page made all four attempts from beyond the arc. OSU shot 52.6 percent from three-point range and a sizzling 60.4 percent overall.

Sherron Collins tallied 22 points and Xavier Henry poured in 17 for the Jayhawks (27-2, 13-1), who had won 13 straight. Kansas' only prior loss came January 10 at the hands of Tennessee, the same program that shook up the standings by knocking off second-ranked Kentucky earlier Saturday.

Kansas had a chance to wrap up the outright Big 12 regular-season title with a win.

After Pilgrim's jumper tied the game at nine less than five minutes into the game, Anderson and Page drained consecutive threes to give the Cowboys a lead that reached 19 in the first half.

OSU carried a 45-29 lead into the break, and maintained control throughout most of the second half before a late surge by Kansas closed the gap to 80-74 with 1:16 to play on Henry's three-pointer.

Anderson made 3-of-4 free throws sandwiched around a missed layup by Kansas' Tyshawn Taylor to help seal the stunning upset.

Oklahoma State improved to 3-6 all-time when facing the top-ranked team in the country...Cole Aldrich had 11 points, five rebounds and three steals for Kansas...The Jayhawks shot 46.6 percent from the floor.
