Men's Slalom: Italy Finally Wins A Gold Medal
On Saturday afternoon, Italy won a rare gold medal. This one came in the men's slalom event, with Italian Giuliano Razzoli leading the pack at 1:39.32.
Croatian Ivica Kostelic finished with the silver and a time of 1:39.48. Sweden's Andre Myhrer won the bronze with a 1:39.76 finish.
Kostelic's win helps Croatia move away from the cellar in the medal count. They now have a total of four.
