Blacksburg, VA (Sports Network) - Greivis Vasquez poured in a career-high 41 points, as the Maryland Terrapin outlasted the Virginia Tech Hokies, 104-100, in double-overtime of an ACC clash at Cassell Coliseum.

Vasquez finished the game with seven boards and six assists, as Maryland (21-7, 11-3 ACC) won its fifth game in a row. Sean Mosley added 17 points and seven boards, while Eric Hayes notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists.

Malcolm Delaney guided VT (21-7, 8-6) in defeat with 27 points and five helpers. Jeff Allen turned in a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds, while Dorenzo Hudson tallied 21 points. J.T. Thompson added 15 points and nine boards, as the Hokies suffered their third straight loss. The Hokies also lost for the firs time in 15 home games.

Both teams shot just over 37 percent from the floor in the opening half, with VT holding a 37-31 advantage at the break.

Maryland rallied in the second half and held an 82-80 lead after a jumper by Hayes with six seconds left. Delaney, however, had an answer, as he converted a bucket as time expired to send the game into overtime.

In the first overtime, Hayes tied the score at 89-89 on two free throws with 41 seconds left and neither team was able to capitalize the rest of the way.

The Terps made seven free throws over the final 37 seconds of the second overtime, as they emerged with the four-point win.

This evening's game was delayed three hours due to a water main break.

Jeremy Lin was again the Knicks hero against the Raptors, and after his first NBA game-winner, Linsanity is crazier than ever. It won't always be this good, but no matter what happens next, let's remember this forever.
