Have you heard? It's not just a Wednesday... It's National Signing Day! This pastime tends to annoy the crap out of crusty sports broadcasters that grunt, "It's about what you do on the field. Recruits don't mean a dang thing!"
...But we're not them. Singing day is for the fans, as much as anything else. And this year should be better than ever, what with Twitter offering unprecedented access to athletes and coaches. Just this morning, Markeith Ambles appeared to announce his college choice by, uh, changing his Twitter background.
...Or is he going to USC? Today will be CRAZY.
Look at Jim Harbaugh out in Palo Alto. He's been up and tweeting since 4:00 am PST.
Signing Day at Stanford has begun! First fax hit our office at 4:00am Pacific. I see you, 404!
4:15am - I see you, 904!
4:20am - I see you, 317!
See those tweets? Jim Harbaugh's definitely down with Nate Dogg. Bangkok in Bangkok? Best believe. Stanford football, yall.
In any case, SB Nation will have comprehensive coverage all day long in our Signing Day StoryStream, so get excited. You see the permalink up there? We're covering all the bases today.
