In something of a surprise, four-star defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli (Salt Lake City, UT) has chosen the Oregon Ducks, spurning offers from Utah, Washington, and UCLA, the latter two of which he visited just this past weekend, leading many to speculate Oregon was behind both schools.
Oregon fans at Addicted To Quack are understandably ecstatic with the news:
[W]e're looking at one of the best classes we've ever had at Oregon. The only class that's in the same ballpark is the class of 2007. While this class will likely not have as many 4-star players, but it should be much more balanced and complete from top to bottom.
