Usually, the mixing of politics and sports results in convoluted arguments and long, drawn-out (often unnecessary) court hearings. But sometimes, the two can join forces to produce jokes that every sports fan can enjoy. For example, earlier on Wednesday, there was rumblings that Tim Tebow was visiting the House of Representatives, and that some of the "single ladies" would be "very appreciative" to know where exactly they could find the NFL hopeful. That prompted this response in the e-mail chain.
Did you check Rep. Shuler's office? That's where overrated QBs who have no chance of playing in the NFL usually hang out.
(sorry, just had to do it)
It's funny because Heath Shuler was a terrible quarterback.

Heath Shuler is technically a Democrat. He’s a Blue Dog so sometimes it’s hard to tell.
