Louisville Columnist: DeMarcus Cousins A Better NBA Prospect Than John Wall

Crazy, right? Well yes, yes it is. 

But before you denounce the idea offhand, at least take a look at the argument posed by Louisville Courier-Journal columnist Rick Bozich. Bozich makes a good point -- as the competition has improved, so to has Cousins' play. Meanwhile, Wall has struggled in SEC play. His points are down, his assists are down and his shooting percentage is way down. 

Then, there's this:

Somebody asked UK coach John Calipari if he has ever coached a guy as talented as Cousins.

"Not a big man," he said.

A jumbo smile spread across Calipari's face.

"Including in the NBA," he said.

Again, saying DeMarcus Cousins is a better prospect than John Wall is crazy, but crazier things have been said. I won't lie: the thought did cross my mind for a brief second.
