Signing Day Reaction: Is LenDale White Coaching USC?

After yesterday's impressive haul on National Signing Day, you just knew Lane Kiffin was going to say something obnoxious. It's just what he does:

Trojans Coach Lane Kiffin said that in the three years since he last recruited for USC, not much had changed in the players that choose the Bruins over the Trojans.

"I watched it over the weekend, just to see if it's the same, and it's really still the same," he said. "I guess we waste time continuing to recruit them. We know within the first 10 minutes whether they're the type of guys that want to play here or there."

That's from the LA Times, but wait a minute... It sounds exactly like something LenDale White said last year. From Deadspin, White speaks on players that choose UCLA:

"You got to make your choice. If you want to get dominated by your crosstown rival, where they can come on your campus and take your girlfriends and stuff, then you make that decision."

Maybe not the same words, but the same spirit, right? The key difference being that, LenDale White can say stuff like that, because... He's LenDale White. He lost 30 pounds after he stopped drinking Patron.

But can Lane Kiffin—someone that looks like this—get away with talking like Lendale White? Eh... Maybe. But if you ask me, he deserves a good, hearty kick in the stomach.

Sharp, now you’re starting to talk smack…are YOU going to be the one that kicks him in the stomach? I doubt it!

I guess football that has always been

doesn’t include the 9 straight wins by UCLA in the 90’s…a feat no OJan team has ever done.

Btw, I wonder if LenDale White enjoyed watching the great Maurice Jones-Drew representing the AFC in the Pro-Bowl, because his ass didn’t make it anywhere near.

No more raining on BN's rainy parade, they took their ball and went home, lmao.
