A quick surveying of Google Trends offers us an idea of what America is thinking and feeling right now. Some of the most popular searches at the moment:
"what channel is the superbowl on"
"superbowl kickoff time"
"kick off time for super bowl 2010"
"Kickoff" is two words, and "Super Bowl" is one word. Got it. Anyway, it appears as though people address Google as if it were their spouse sitting in the living room, calling to them from across the hall as they grab leftovers from the fridge. We're dangerously close to seeing Google searches such as:
"where are my car keys"
"did you remember to call the insurance company about our premiums"
"the humphries called, they want to see if we want to come to dinner thursday night. i can call melissa, see if she can take the kids. then again i think she may be in des moines to visit her aunt this week. i'll call her and ask."
"i don't bust my hump all week at the office so you can sit at home and be a search engine all day"
Oh, I'm sorry for being such a stick in the mud. We're glad you're here, friend! SB Nation is a fun-filled place. Click around and make yourself at home. As for the Super Bowl itself, it airs on CBS, and kickoff is at 6:25 P.M. Eastern.
