Saints - Colts: Super Bowl XLIV Open Thread

[UPDATE]: For convenience of thread management, we've moved the discussion to the second quarter thread, located here. Continue the conversation at the new thread. [END UPDATE]

The big game is finally here. SB Nation would like to welcome all the members of our NFL blogs (and other sports) to our first Super Bowl open thread. We're asking fans from around the SB Nation universe to join together to watch the game and comment on the happenings, as they happen!

First off, we here at SB Nation will have people reporting live from the stadium. We're also going to be providing up-to-the-minute news, video, and offbeat commentary. Be sure to keep up with our StoryStream.

Also, our own Spencer Hall will be riffing on tonight's commercials. Stay tuned for a link.

Of course, our Saints community at Canal Street Chronicles and our Colts community at Stampede Blue will be participating in their own threads. But for the rest of us, those without a dog in the race, we can get together here and gab about the game until our hearts are content. Don't forget the commercials, they're fair game, too.

Welcome, SB Nation community, to our Super Bowl open thread.

Please Note: To have the comments auto-refresh, click the checkbox just above where the first comment begins.
