Only Shreveport saw this coming, so when the sky turns dark and the end of the world as we know it starts today you they get some credit. Right next to articles on the Saints' improbable victory over the Colts in the Super Bowl stands this ad:
The citizens of New Orleans are fine with this now, provided you wait at least a day for the hangover to wear off--wait, wait. Actually, Mardi Gras is coming up, so if you could hold off on that whole end-of-the-world thing for at least a week that would be just peachy. And if you wanted to hold off until after Jazzfest? That would be just fine, too, since the food's going to be unreal.
