Google View is everywhere. You may have actually seen the Google Maps camera car toodling through the streets of your city, down the highway, or even innocently rumbling through your shower one day while you were bathing before work. (Don’t worry. It’s for science.)
They’re at the Olympics, too, and plan on having every inch of Whistler and Vancouver mapped out for the web, including the slopes themselves. Google’s engineers are capturing the slopes with the help of a specially rigged camera-equipped snowmobile. Let’s help this little startup company with some free publicity.
The results? OOOOH SHINY. Thank goodness they’re not having this year’s games in Germany.
