Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Jeffery Taylor finished with 26 points, as 22nd-ranked Vanderbilt routed No. 12 Tennessee, 90-71, at Memorial Gymnasium.
Taylor also recorded seven rebounds and made 12-of-12 free throws for the Commodores (18-5, 7-2 SEC), who improved to 12-0 at home this season and extended their home winning streak to 17 games.
Jermaine Beal added 20 points as Vanderbilt also completed the regular-season sweep of the Volunteers (18-5, 6-3), having won at Tennessee on January 27.
J.P. Prince had 19 points and six boards to pace Tennessee, which had won its last three games. Wayne Chism added 16 points and seven boards in the loss.
