That business with trucking snow into the Winter Olympics, because Canada in February turns out to not have all that much snow? Still going on:
In order to get the venues prepared, organizers already have canceled two days of halfpipe training and pushed back parallel giant slalom training by two days. They also have chemicals that can be used to harden the snow.
That sounds rustic and inviting! Stay tuned for Saturday's inaugural Cypress Mountain event, the Ice And Hay Bale Downhill.
