Here's when you know you've made it in the state of the Kentucky: they put your face on a giant bottle of Bourbon.
Does March even matter at this point? National title or not, Calipari's clearly won the hearts and minds of Kentuckians. The special edition bottles will cost $49, with 24,000 to be released throughout Kentucky. And as a general point, having your face on a bottle of bourbon is just about the most badass honor ever.
It could only happen in Kentucky, of course; nowhere else would a basketball coach be so deified, and nowhere else would there be enough insane basketball fans to buy 24,000 bottles at $50-a-pop. Unreal.
(But please, no Billy Gillispie jokes)

The official website for the foundation and bottle announcement is: http://caliparifoundation.org.
Also, there is an ebay store to purchase bottles WITH guaranteed placement at Lexington’s Keeneland Race Track for the signing of the bottle.
Cheers!
