It's hard to bring life to a Milwaukee Bucks basketball game, but Andrew Bogut has been trying. Before the season, he purchased 100 tickets for all 41 home games for a group of fans collectively known as "Section 6." Their objective was to be as wild and crazy as possible.
Apparently, it's working, because as Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal-Times notes, they've flustered a lot of opposing players. When Dwyane Wade came to town, they chanted "Novak's better," a homage to Wade's former college teammate Steve Novak. When the Bulls came to Milwaukee, they serenaded Joakim Noah with Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like A Lady." In other words, they're acting like actual basketball fans.
Yes, the fact that 100 people can make that big a difference on the atmosphere of a Bucks game shows that Bucks games were pretty lame to begin with, but it's still cool to see an NBA player give so many fans fans the chance to go crazy at a basketball game for free. Even if it's Milwaukee.
